BLAST is the children’s ministry at Friendship Baptist Church. Our logo demonstrates the powerful effect that we want to have in the lives of the children in our community. We desire that personal faith in Jesus and life lived in God’s love will rumble through our community and we want to be the epicenter of the explosion. Our goal is to accomplish this by “Believing, Living, and Sharing Truth” – the truth of Jesus.

To lead children to experience the life changing power that comes through faith in Jesus and life lived in His Love, and to help those children share his power with others.
Our Philosophy
To work with God’s children is a privilege and we are honored when parents allow us to minister to their children. BLAST is designed to be a cooperative program with parents and guardians to fulfill
Proverbs 22:6 – “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.”
BLAST is devoted to fulfilling the words of Jesus:
“Suffer the little children to come unto me and forbid them not.”
It is our desire to facilitate children’s ministry. To preschoolers all the way to sixth graders. In such a way as to allow children to come to Jesus and equip them to live for Jesus.
