5th Quarter
Jon Randles spoke at 5th quarter. This is an event where Friendship Baptist partners with First Baptist in Vilonia. It was an amazing event. We saw many people come to know Jesus Christ and many students said they wanted to go deeper in their relationship as a disciple and disciple maker.
Corliss Williamson
The University of Central Arkansas head basketball coach, Corliss Williamson came and spoke to our students and our Church.
Ground Breaking
We celebrated a ground-breaking ceremony to kick off the construction of our new $2.7 million dollar worship center on August 14th, 2011.
Bro. Ken Jordan, pastor of Friendship, said “The new worship center will allow the members of Friendship Baptist Church to better meet the spiritual needs of our growing community. Our aim is to reach those in our community who do not know Jesus Christ as their personal Savior through our evangelic ministry and to help our members grow spiritually in Christ through the discipleship ministry. The new facility is not to provide physical comfort for our members, but rather to allow our members to serve Christ better.”
The worship center is expected to be completed and ready for use by Aug. 1, 2012.
